Physician required, Special Interests in Multidisciplinary Practice (with pics!)

Job Details: Our client in Selkirk, Manitoba is looking for full-time and/or part-time Family Physicians.  Special interests welcome e.g. Dermatology, Sports Medicine etc, and interest in joining a General Surgeon in the practice is welcome. Any additional skills are also encouraged. Physicians can be involved in Palliative Care, Dialysis, Chemotherapy, Personal Care Home attending if desired. Ability to admit patients to regional hospital and ER shifts are available at the regional hospital as well. Shifts are flexible and weekend work would be at the physician’s discretion.

The clinic uses LibreMD EMR, and offers billing support. All equipment and management is provided. Payment structure is fee-for-service, the split arrangement will be 80/20 for the first 3 months, and then 75/25 thereafter. The range of potential annual earnings is $300,000-$400,000. 

Incentives Available to the Physician: Site visit and relocation allowance if out of province.

Clinic Details: This state-of-the art complex is designed to unite primary care with a variety of health care specialties, including the multidisciplinary Vein Clinic, which will care for everything from veins to verrucas, in addition to skin cancers. This will provide a more integrated approach to health and wellness services. As part of the team, you will work alongside specialists in a variety of fields. You will also become part of a vibrant, thriving community, in the region just outside of the province’s largest city. The population of Selkirk and the surrounding area is 25,000, and the hospital is a referral centre for a catchment of 125,000. Selkirk is the Regional Centre for the Interlake.

Facility details include associated dental and audiology practice, pharmacy, minor operations suite, staff room, doctors' room, workstations for associated health providers and member regional home clinic program. On-site services like a new daycare will provide additional convenience for patients and those who practice at the facility.

Requirements: 
•  Eligible for licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM)
•  Postgraduate training from Australia, Canada, Ireland, UK, or USA
