Hours of work are 4 to 8 hour shifts, a total of 20 to 40 hours per week with weekends only on Saturday for 4 hours. No call schedule. The clinic uses Oscar EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 75/25 (first 2 months will be no split to assist the incoming physician), and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $300,000-$400,000. Job Details: Our client in Canmore, Alberta is looking for a full-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. Part-time and locum options are also available. Work with welcoming and supportive colleagues in a physician owned and managed multidisciplinary team. With many physicians retiring over the past few years, the community needs physicians therefore filling a patient roster will be easy, and the community will be incredibly appreciative. The incoming full-time physician will work 4-5 days a week. Periodic evening and Saturday shifts are available, with no expectation but welcomed as many physicians participate. The physician will have some flexibility in determining their preference around in-person and virtual care allowing for a flexible work/life balance. Procedures in the clinic are also welcomed. The clinic encourages other professional interests such as mental health and public health in addition to full-spectrum family practice.  There are no hospital call requirements; however, there is a hospitalist group which would benefit from additional physician support, should this be of interest. Other engagement opportunities include surgical assist at the hospital, and a newly built supportive-living facility. The clinic uses MedAccess EMR, and offers online appointment booking, a patient portal for secure messaging, and billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service. The range of potential full-time annual earnings is $250,000-$350,000.  Clinic Details: This bright, modern clinic with views of the mountains has 9 clinic rooms, 1 procedure room, a nursing station (which houses 0.9FTE RN during the week), and 3 dedicated front staff to help with patient flow. This multidisciplinary team includes 10 family physicians, a registered nurse, counsellors and other collaborative providers. A General Internal Medicine and Pediatric Specialist come into the clinic 1-2 times per month as well. The facility is primarily open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, the last Saturday of the month, and have recently extended Tuesday-Thursday until 8pm. The clinic is flexible on hours in order to serve the community. The stunning town of Canmore is nestled in the beautiful Bow Valley 1 hour from the Calgary international airport and moments away from the renowned Banff National Park. This tourism favourite continues to grow, with a local housing development proposed to add 14,500 new residents.
