INDEPENDENT LICENSED ONLY / Job ID: 2571 $600K Earning Potential, Family Physicians required for Established Practice, Large Patient Panel  Job Details: Our client in Drumheller, Alberta is looking for a full-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. The incoming physician is to work within a patient medical home that utilizes all team members to their full scope and capacity. Work hours are 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. Please note that on Monday to Wednesday shifts will be extended to 7pm.  The clinic uses Juno EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service. The incoming physicians split will be 13% plus equal share of clinic’s overall expenses, which will work out to around 72/28 to 70/30 in total. The range of potential full-time annual earnings is $500,000-$600,000. Clinic Details: The clinic is a distinguished patient medical home that provides multi-centre and multi-physician on-call support for after-hours regulatory regulation. It also doubles as a teaching facility and has various learners working at the facility including physician residents, nurse practitioners and medical students. The clinic also offers same day and walk-in appointments and has the largest per physician panel of patients within a 150 km radius. The facility offers nursing support and multiple patient care coordinators that will provide support to physicians as they conduct their duties.  There are large and themed patient care rooms that will provide amble space for patients and their families.  The clinic also has a procedure room and an in-house pharmacy which has a dispensary on location which offers medication reviews, counselling and injection therapy.  The facility also offers a very convenient location with unlimited parking in the Badlands Community Facility lot, wheelchair access with reserved front parking. There are 2 family physicians currently working at the clinic. Drumheller is widely recognized as a welcoming town with a strong community spirit, where residents rally together for local events, volunteerism, and family-oriented celebrations. INDEPENDENT LICENSED ONLY / Job ID: 2267  Family Physician required for Modern and Supportive Mississauga Clinic   Job Details: Our client in Mississauga, Ontario is looking for a part-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. The right candidate is expected to have good communication skills, experience dealing with variety of patient demographics and have average computer skills to use the EMR system and write reports as needed. The physician will be dealing with different medical conditions as expected in a primary care setting, with patients from all ages including antenatal care, well-baby visits, vaccinations, and follow ups on diabetics, hypertensive, and other chronic medical conditions periodically. There are no emergency cases. Experience with any subspeciality (Dermatology, Pediatrics, Surgery, Emergency Medicine) would be an asset.  Clinic working hours are Monday to Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 11am-3pm. The physician may choose how many hours and when to work within this time limit, there is no calls or after hours shifts required. The clinic uses Accuro EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 70/30, which includes all the OHIP billing, cash, payments by legal/insurance companies, and uncovered services (which the patients pay for, directly to the physician). The range of potential part-time earnings is $2000 to $2500 daily. Incentives Available to the Physician: Work permit and PR support Available  Clinic Details: This modern clinic is wheelchair friendly with an accessible entrance and washrooms. There are 6 fully equipped exam rooms with all new furniture and automated machines for vitals. There is a room for minor procedures that is prepared with all the surgical instruments, a lab room for all blood tests and a pharmacy on site that includes OTC meds, braces, crutches etc. The clinic is paperless, and everything is computerized, every staff member is offered a laptop to use in the clinic. Virtual patients visits on phone are available and billable by OHIP. The clinic staff are well trained and skilled to do all the injections, vaccinations, and simple test procedures, for the doctor. There is a technician for Echo-cardiography, HOLTER and ECG. Professional desk staff and doctor's assistants review the mail, faxes, and test reports, prepare them for the doctor and book appointments with patients to discuss further. The clinic's dynamics is designed to help the doctor, using their duty time efficiently to see more patients with as minimum effort as possible. There is 1 family physician currently working at the clinic.  The Clinic is in the Erin Mills area in the City of Mississauga, which is part of the great Toronto area. It is mostly a residential area, with a diversity of culture, with a variety of restaurants, and several malls. Toronto International Airport is 30 minute's drive , Lake Ontario and Niagara Falls are a short driving, there is lots of trials and outdoor activities 30 to 90 minute's drive, and skiing, snowmobiling are 2 hours drive away. SUPERVISION/SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE / Job ID: 2570 $450K Earning Potential, Family Physicians required for Practice with Large Patient Pool Job Details: Our client in Vancouver, British Columbia is looking for a full-time Family Physician to join their practice. The incoming physician will have training and clinical experience in family medicine or primary care and the ability to work collaboratively with administrative and clinical team members. The role includes conducting a comfort management complex and addressing multi-factorial health  concerns. Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and follow-up skills are also a requirement. The candidate will also be comfortable with using EMR and knowledge in preventive medicine, longitudinal care, and risk-based health assessment. Work hours will be 4-5 days a week, from 9 am-5pm. No evening or weekend shifts required. There will be weekend calls for a 2-week duration that will be shared amongst the clinic’s 4 other GPs. These shifts will be every 10 weeks. The clinic usually has low call volume during these shifts, with 2-7 calls throughout the 2-week period. The clinic uses OSCAR pro EMR and billing will be done by the incoming physician. Payment structure is blended structure and, split arrangement is 75/25, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $350,000-$450,000. Clinic Details: The clinic is a modern, preventive and health focused private practice with integrated family medicine and a managed patient panel of approximately 200–250 patients. The clinic also has an on-site lab collection centre which operates 3 days a week. The clinic operates 9 am-5pm, Monday-Friday, and is closed on weekends and stat holidays. The facility has a highly efficient admin team that manages bookings, referrals, and patient coordination. They work very closely with the physicians to support their practice and to keep their schedules running smoothly. There are 4 GPs, 1 part-time Dermatologist, 1 part-time Internal Medicine, and 1 part-time Gynecologist currently working at the clinic. The clinic is located on Vancouver’s west side in the Dunbar area, with an urban residential population. The clinic’s patients are generally engaged, health-educated, and interested in preventive and longitudinal care. The incoming physician will be responsible for multiple roles including; Assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of acute walk-in presentations, providing primary care services to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients, managing undifferentiated patients efficiently and safely, prescribing medications and initiating treatment plans in according with best practices, perform routine medical examinations including driver’s medical exams and WSIB medical assessments.
