Our client runs a network of clinics across most of Canada, with many clinics and locations being added all the time. They are committed to empowering patients with care that results in improved health outcomes, their focus is putting their patients and their family's health first. They will work closely with you to ensure there is a smooth transition of practice. The incoming physician should be fully licensed in Gastroenterology with Gastrointestinal scope certification. Responsibilities include reviewing patient medical history, conduct a physical examination, provide care for gastrointestinal (GI) issues, like constipation, colitis, GI bleeding, abdominal pain, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Order diagnostic tests or screenings, create a tailored treatment plan, and provide recommendations for ongoing care. There is an onsite scoping room available for endoscopy procedures. The team has access to the latest technology and training to provide turn-key medical practice, and national partnerships to bring the best of solutions from all corners of the country to the clinic, including the latest inpatient communication, self-check in AI tools, and Cyber security. The clinic is open Monday-Friday, hours are flexible with the physician working alongside the clinic team on a suitable schedule. The clinic uses AccuroEMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 75/25 negotiable, the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $600,000-$800,000. Clinic operates Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with a discretionary Friday clinic if wished. Hours are negotiable and no on-call required. The clinic uses a modern and intuitive Ava EMR. Billing support and orientation to the provincial health system will be provided to the successful candidates to help hit ground running and maximise billing.
