They will be responsible for conducting physical examinations, developmental screening, monitoring child growth and development. Maintain accurate and updated patient records in EMR systems, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and professional standards. Educate and counsel parents on children’s health, development including nutrition, and referring patients to specialists, when necessary. The physician should have a warm friendly and compassionate approach towards children and families, with strong communication skills and a commitment to culturally sensitive care and inclusivity. Multilingual speaking physician is preferred. Hours are negotiable, preferably working 5 days per week.   The clinic uses Telus Med Access EMR and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 70/30, negotiable and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $300,000-$400,000.   Clinic Details: This multi-disciplinary facility has 10 exam rooms & 2 procedure rooms. This is a collaborative environment that allows physicians to focus on diagnosis and treatment while ensuring comprehensive care. The physician will be supported by an administrative team including MOA’s, an assistant manager, and a clinic manager, who handle appointment scheduling, patient communications, insurance coordination, and overall clinic operations. A dedicated marketing team is on hand to promote the clinic’s services and supporting patient outreach. There is a nurse who can assist with patient intake, vital signs, and patient education. Currently there is 1 part-time internal medicine, 1 part-time general surgeon, 1 part-time cardiologist and 2 full-time family physicians working at the clinic.  The clinic is easily accessible by both vehicle and public transit. Close to the university of Alberta and within 10 minutes from downtown Edmonton. Services include physiotherapy, massage, and acupuncture. They are the largest endocrinology community provider, also offering cardiovascular, respirology and imaging care to patients, with the highest standards of operating excellence. You will be working alongside a team of multidisciplinary specialists, and top experienced research personnel providing care to 45000+ Albertans. The incoming physician should have experience in managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and complex endocrine disorders. They should have a cheerful, positive, and collaborative attitude, ability to work effectively with others, and independently. Have strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to best practices and provide the best possible care for their patients, treating each one with respect, dignity and kindness. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating hormonal imbalances and endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, adrenal and pituitary conditions, fatty liver, and metabolic disorders.
