$100K Signing Bonus, $15K Relocation Assistance, Anesthesiologist Required for Hospital

Job Details: Our client in Windsor, Ontario is looking for full-time Anesthesiologists to join their hospital. The ideal candidate must have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to continuous learning as well as strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

The candidate will also be a part of a comprehensive anesthesia practice and will have exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties. The hospital will provide candidates with the opportunity to maintain broad clinical skills without becoming narrowly focused. The large regional catchment area also provides strong case volume and variety.

The incoming specialist will work in a collaborative and supportive culture where teamwork and mutual respect is paramount as well as gain exposure to a wide spectrum of surgical cases. The specialist will also be a part of a team that supports 30,000 surgical procedures and 3,800 births annually and make a difference in the lives of the community. The role will grant the specialist teaching opportunities such as popular community rotation for senior anesthesia residents, year-round interaction with engaged medical students and trainees, monthly morbidity, mortality and improvement rounds. The specialist will also have access to flexible and innovative scheduling practices to ensure work-life balance.

The hospital uses Cerner EMR and does not offer billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, and there is no overhead cost to the physician, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings will be discussed with candidates during negotiations.

Incentives Available to the Physician: $15K Relocation assistance and signing Bonus of $100K paid over 4 years.

Clinic Details: The hospital  has 22 Operating Rooms and offers nursing support. It is well supported by a multidisciplinary team of Respirologists, Gastroenterologists, Medical and Radiation Oncologists as well as Thoracic Anaesthetists to provide compassionate care.

Requirements:
• Certification or eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).
•  Current Licensure or eligibility for independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• For US Board Certified Physicians, CPSO pathway licensure is available.
•  Supervised licensure will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and is based on the capacity to meet CPSO requirements by the Hospital.
