The specialist’s roles will include providing a full spectrum of plastic and reconstructive surgery services to patients in Windsor and the surrounding catchment area as well as sharing on-call responsibilities for the region (anticipated 1-in-4 to 1-in-5). Call is shared equitably and equally among members of the Division. The specialist will also be provided one day (7.5 hours) and a half (3.5-4.0 hours) per week of ambulatory clinic time. Ambulatory clinic time is shared equally, and proportionally, to the other members of the division and consistent with call requirements. Other roles include collaborating effectively and respectfully with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient care as well as maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care in all aspects of your practice.
