The incoming physician's responsibilities will include providing comprehensive primary care to rostered patients and walk-in coverage. The physician will also receive support in growing their patient roster quickly. Hours of work will be 9am-6pm Monday to Friday, with the possibility of work hours being extended 9am - 8pm once the clinic has full-time physician coverage. The clinic uses Oscar EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is a blended model including OHIP billing and being part of a FHG (Family Health Group), split arrangement will be no overhead in the first month, 90/10 in the second month and 80/20 onwards, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $400,000-$500,000. Incentives Available to the Physician: No overhead in the first month. Clinic Details: The clinic has an on-site pharmacy as well as on-site partners including a pain-management clinic, cardiologist/cardiac centre and dentist. There are also plans for an on-site lab to be built. Physiotherapy and Optometry services will also be available soon. The facility has a full-time front desk staff to provide administrative support. Nursing and billing support are available if needed, at a small additional cost. Billing support is a low fee, similar to the cost of nursing support. These are optional services and not part of the overhead, and the cost is shared among the physicians who choose to use them. There are 2 family physicians currently working at the clinic. They are also the clinic owners and will provide support to the incoming physician. A Physician Success team is in place that has supported many internationally trained physicians through the immigration and licensing process and will work closely with you to ensure your landing in Vancouver is smooth and fully supported. Our client will begin building your patient roster before you arrive. Billing support is in place from Day 1 — and this clinic's manager is particularly knowledgeable in this area, offering a level of billing expertise and hands-on support that goes well beyond the standard. Your clinical decisions remain yours. The clinic operates Monday–Thursday 9am–4pm, Friday 9am–3pm, and Saturday 10am–2pm, with flexible hours worked out collaboratively with the clinic team to suit your schedule.
