$500K-$900K+ Earning Potential, Endocrinologist required for Calgary Clinic Network
Job Details: Our client based in Calgary, Alberta is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Endocrinologist to join their multidisciplinary teams. They are the largest endocrinology community provider, also offering cardiovascular, respirology and imaging care to patients, with the highest standards of operating excellence. You will be working alongside a team of multidisciplinary specialists, and top experienced research personnel providing care to 45000+ Albertans.
The incoming physician should have experience in managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and complex endocrine disorders. They should have a cheerful, positive, and collaborative attitude, ability to work effectively with others, and independently. Have strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to best practices and provide the best possible care for their patients, treating each one with respect, dignity and kindness.
Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating hormonal imbalances and endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, adrenal and pituitary conditions, fatty liver, and metabolic disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans using medications, lifestyle changes, and hormone therapies based on diagnostic findings. Contribute to clinical research initiatives and use electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient interactions, treatment plans, and follow up care efficiently. Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care for patients with complex medical needs. Monitor and manage chronic endocrine conditions through regular follow-ups, lab tests, and patient education. Stay current with medical research and advancements in endocrinology to apply evidence-based practices in patient care. Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in endocrinology through clinical rotations, when present. Hours flexible, to be discussed with interested candidates.
The clinics use Accuro as an EMR system and offer billing and administrative support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is dependent on consultation volume ranging from 64/36 to 72/28 based on the 4-week gross billing volume. The range of potential full-time annual earnings is $500,000 - $900,000+.
Clinic Details: This is a multi-disciplinary clinic network consisting of 50+ various specialists and Allied healthcare professionals working together to provide comprehensive care in cardiovascular, endocrinology and internal medicine to Alberta Communities. On site diabetes educators, pump trainers, nurses and paramedics are available for optimal patient care and physician interaction.
