$500K Gross Earning Potential, $15K Signing Bonus, Excellent Opportunity for Family Physicians
Job Details: Our client in Sherwood Park, Alberta is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. Language skills in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, or related languages are a strong asset.
The incoming physician will be responsible for building a panel of patients for long-term care and fee for service billings. Experience with EMR System is required. Hours of work are weekdays 8:30am-5:30pm and weekend shifts (hours to be agreed) as per negotiation. A 3-year minimum commitment is required.
This role is aimed at physician’s who like a work-life balance and hope to stay long term. Fresh graduates are welcome and mentoring for Alberta system shall be provided. Role not suitable for candidates looking for walk-in patients only or maximizing billings as their sole reason for relocation.
The clinic uses HealthQuest EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 70/30, potential full-time annual earnings are $500,000 gross.
Incentives Available to the Physician: $15K Relocation Signing Bonus after first 2 months. Support/Advise for overseas candidates for boarding/lodging, relocation, schooling options for kids offered.
Clinic Details: The clinic offers full scope of family practice. There is a procedure room, cryotherapy sessions and set up available. Both full-time and part-time administrative staff available to support the physicians. There are currently 2 family physicians working at the clinic.
The clinic has cordial relations with the adjoining pharmacy, it is not part of the clinic, but the team are very helpful. Sherwood Park is located in Strathcona County, 20 minutes from Edmonton. A smaller town community with safe neighbourhoods, popular recreation facilities, green space, excellent schools, and high-quality police and ambulance services. An attractive place to live, many people born and raised in the community stay and raise their own families there.
Requirements:
• Eligible for licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
• Postgraduate training from Australia, Canada, Ireland, UK, or USA
