Guaranteed Income While You Build Your Practice, FHO Opportunity at a High-Demand Brampton Clinic 

Job Details: Our client in Brampton, Ontario, is looking for a full-time or part-time Family Physician to join their well-established, multidisciplinary, multi-physician clinic. The clinic is part of a growing national network committed to improving patient outcomes and supporting physicians throughout every stage of their practice. 

The incoming physician will have the opportunity to join an established Family Health Organization (FHO) and, subject to Ministry eligibility and approval, begin under Ontario’s Income Stabilization Program. This provides guaranteed compensation for up to 12 months while the physician builds their patient roster and transitions into the FHO’s blended-capitation funding model. 

This is an especially low-risk opportunity for a physician to establish a new practice in Ontario. The clinic has a large existing patient base and continues to experience strong demand from patients seeking a family physician. Several established physicians may also retire within the next year, creating the potential for existing patients to be transitioned to the incoming physician. 

The physician will provide comprehensive, longitudinal family medicine, including preventative care, chronic disease management, episodic care, health assessments, medication management, and coordination with specialists and allied healthcare providers. Virtual and telehealth services can also be provided from home. 

The clinic is open seven days a week, and scheduling is flexible. The physician will work with the clinic team to develop a schedule that meets both their professional goals and FHO obligations. In-clinic cross-coverage is available for short vacations, and no overnight on-call coverage is required. 

The clinic uses Accuro EMR and provides specialized billing and practice-management support. Physicians transitioning from Income Stabilization will move into the FHO’s blended-capitation payment model. Split arrangement is 70/30 negotiable to reflect the value and expertise of the physician Potential full-time annual earnings are approximately $300,000–$600,000+, depending on roster size, schedule, services provided, and applicable premiums and incentives. 

Incentives Available: The clinic offers a variety of incentives depending on the physician’s circumstances, clinic requirements, and proposed schedule. These may include signing incentives and assistance with eligible transition or location-related expenses. Details will be discussed directly with interested candidates. 

Clinic Details: This is an ultra-modern facility, newly built in 2019, with modern equipment in each room. The clinic offers Primary Care, Family Practice, Walk-In, Women's Health, Men's Health, Pediatric Primary Care and Mental Wellness Online Therapy. There is a supportive administrative team and 9 Physicians currently working at the clinic, available to assist with the transition process. 

Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-8pm, Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-2pm. The facility includes an onsite pharmacy and lab. Located in a busy plaza offering free parking, in an expanding residential area.

Requirements: 
•  Eligible for licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) 
•  Postgraduate training from Australia, Canada, Ireland, UK, or USA
