80/20 Split, Family Physicians required for Well- Established FHO Clinic(with pics!)

Job Details: Our client, a highly reputable and well-established Family Health Organization (FHO+) clinic in Kitchener, Ontario, is seeking a dedicated, full-time Family Physician to join their multidisciplinary team.

This position offers an incoming physician the opportunity to provide a full scope of family medicine within a collaborative, supportive environment. The clinic is fully prepared to assist the successful candidate in rapidly building a robust patient panel, which includes actively working to transition a roster from a retiring physician in the community. Experience or an interest in Women’s Health, Geriatrics, and Pediatric Care is highly valued. Standard after-hours coverage including weekday call rotations every 4 to 6 weeks, and weekend call coverage 1 to 2 times every 6 months.

The clinic uses Telus PS Suite EMR, the clinic does not offer billing support, as billings are physician managed. Payment structure is via FHO model, split arrangement is 80/20, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $350,000-$400,000.  

Incentives Available to the Physician: Income stabilization program available specifically for physicians newly relocating/transitioning to practice in Canada.

Clinic Details:  The practice operates out of a spacious, modern, and fully air-conditioned facility designed for optimal patient flow and provider comfort.
Facilities include:
• 9 spacious, above-average-sized examination rooms.
• Labeled procedure room, an integrated cardiology suite, and a large, fully equipped staff kitchen.
• Generous waiting area (comfortably accommodating 15 to 20 patients) with a dedicated, separate reception desk.
• Reserved physician parking and free on-site parking for over 30 patient vehicles.

The clinic fosters an exceptionally collegial, peer-supported environment. You will be supported by an efficient, highly trained allied health team, including:
 • 2 full-time and 1 part-time Medical Office Assistants (MOAs).
• 1 full-time Registered Nurse.
• 2 full-time Family Physicians.
• 1 visiting Cardiologist (on-site 1 day per week).

Clinic hours:
• Regular Hours: Monday to Thursday (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM), Friday (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM).
• After-Hours Clinic: Monday to Friday (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM), Saturday and Sunday (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM) on a rotational basis.

Requirements: 
• Must hold or be eligible for an independent license to practice medicine with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
•  Completed postgraduate residency training in Family Medicine from one of the following recognized jurisdictions: Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, or Australia.
