Job Details: Our client in Squamish, British Columbia, is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join their new Family Practice/Walk-in clinic hybrid clinic, opening summer 2026. The expected patient panel of 800-1200. The physician will provide comprehensive primary care across the life span, including acute, chronic, and preventative care. Responsibilities include diagnosis, treatment, ongoing management, preventative screening, coordination of referrals, EMR documentation and collaboration with the allied health team
Procedural skills are highly valued, particularly in mole biopsies, IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals, and liquid nitrogen treatments. Flexibility with payment models and EMR proficiency is required, along with experience in rural or semi-rural settings. Hours to be confirmed, some evening and weekend availability may be required.
The clinic uses Telus CHR and offers billing support. Split arrangement is negotiable and will be discussed with interested candidates. Payment structure is fee-for-service or the Longitudinal Family Practice (LFP) payment model. Fee-for-Service earnings depend on patient volume and services billed, gross full-time income is typically ranges $250,000-$325,000/ year.
LFP introduced in 2023, this model compensates physicians not only for patient visits but also for indirect care (charting, panel management, coordination). Gross full-time income commonly falls in the $325,000-$385,000/ year range.
