The job includes a comprehensive, holistic and psychiatric assessment and will be specifically tailored to the client’s needs. The incoming specialist will be experienced and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as confidence in managing complex mental health patients and the ability to operate the clinic’s EMR.   The clinic fosters independence and very comprehensive mental health specialist skills. As this is not a hospital-based job, the physician should have competent skills to manage complex cases. The clinic has the approval from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. If possible, the physician should schedule a visit to the clinic to meet the team. This is encouraged but not mandatory.
