The incoming specialists will join a dynamic healthcare team and operate across two main sites. The hospital's emergency department serves over 400,000 residents across Windsor and Essex County, handling more than 100,000 patient visits annually. The incoming specialists' responsibilities will include providing high-quality, efficient, and compassionate emergency medical care to diverse patient populations, as well as coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams, including GEM nurses, Ontario Health at Home coordinators, emergency department pharmacists, and specialty consultation services. Other roles will also include participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to institutional hospital standards and safety protocols.  The Emergency Department runs 24/7, 365 days a year.
