The incoming physician will have the opportunity to join an established Family Health Organization (FHO) and, subject to Ministry eligibility and approval, begin under Ontario’s Income Stabilization Program. This provides guaranteed compensation for up to 12 months while the physician builds their patient roster and transitions into the FHO’s blended-capitation funding model. This is an especially low-risk opportunity for a physician to establish a new practice in Ontario. The clinic has a large existing patient base and continues to experience strong demand from patients seeking a family physician. Several established physicians may also retire within the next year, creating the potential for existing patients to be transitioned to the incoming physician.  The physician will provide comprehensive, longitudinal family medicine, including preventative care, chronic disease management, episodic care, health assessments, medication management, and coordination with specialists and allied healthcare providers.
