Family Physician Opportunity – High Patient Demand, Great Split (with pics!)
Job Details: Our client in Barrie, Ontario is seeking a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join a well-established Family Practice and Walk-In Clinic. This opportunity offers a unique hybrid model, allowing physicians to build a family practice while generating immediate income through an existing high-volume walk-in clinic. Barrie remains an underserved community for primary care, with significant patient demand and a large number of unattached patients actively seeking family physicians. The clinic's walk-in service sees 40+ patients daily, providing an excellent pathway to rapidly establish a full family medicine roster.
The incoming physician will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of non-emergency medical conditions for patients of all ages. Responsibilities include managing acute illnesses and injuries, performing routine examinations, prescribing medications, providing preventative care, and delivering comprehensive family medicine services.
Physicians have flexibility regarding patient volumes and scheduling while benefiting from an established referral source of patients looking for long-term primary care.
Hours of Operation:
• Monday-Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Saturday: 10:00am – 3:00pm

Compensation:
Fee-for-Service model with flexible split arrangements available:

• 80/20 – Non-insured billings shared 50/50
• 75/25 – Physician retains 100% of non-insured billings
Alternative arrangements may be discussed with qualified candidates and estimated full-time earning potential is $450,000 - $550,000+ annually and physicians may supplement family practice income through walk-in clinic coverage while their roster develops.

Requirements:
• Eligible for licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
