Job Details: Our client in Kelowna, British Columbia is looking for a full-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. The incoming physician will have the opportunity to join a thriving, full-scope practice where excellent medicine and meaningful work-life balance is truly met. The ideal candidate should be able to work as part of a team with the capability of working in a multi - clinic setting. The clinic follows the Fulltime Longitudinal Family Practice Model, which helps the physicians to fill patient panels in record time.
Hours of work are flexible with mostly regular weekday shifts; with both telehealth and in office hybrid. Weekends shift is only at the discretion of the physician and no on-call required.
The clinic uses Medaccess EMR , and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 75/25 and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $600,000+.
Incentives Available to the Physician: Group extended Medical/Health Insurance Benefits offered - paid for by Physician, LMIA exemption certificate will be provided to the clinic sponsored physicians.
Clinic Details: This is a multi-site medical clinic, offering well-equipped examinations room with touch screen desktops, the clinic also uses Novel Front Desk Virtual MOA, which reduces missed calls to less than 3%. This is a supportive and collegial working environment with a 1:1 MOA Physician ratio, and full-time registered nurses to assist the physician. There are currently 2 family physicians working at this clinic.
Located in Kelowna, in close proximity to banks, shopping malls and the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus. Kelowna International airport is only a 9-minute drive away.
Our client has 3 locations in the area, each with a full-time registered nurse on site which offers physicians multiple opportunities for increasing their patient panels. The facilities are open weekdays.
Requirements:
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
• Postgraduate training from Australia, Canada, Ireland, UK, or USA
