$500K Earnings ,No Overhead in the First Month,Family Physicians required for Physician Owned Clinic

Job Details: Our client in Guelph, Ontario is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. The incoming physician's responsibilities will include providing comprehensive primary care to rostered patients and walk-in coverage. The physician will also receive support in growing their patient roster quickly.  Hours of work will be 9am-6pm Monday to Friday, with the possibility of work hours being extended 9am - 8pm once the clinic has full-time physician coverage.

The clinic uses Oscar EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is a blended model including OHIP billing and being part of a FHG (Family Health Group), split arrangement will be no overhead in the first month, 90/10 in the second month and  80/20 onwards, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $400,000-$500,000. 

 Incentives Available to the Physician: No overhead in the first month.

Clinic Details: The clinic has an on-site pharmacy as well as on-site partners including a pain-management clinic, cardiologist/cardiac centre and dentist. There are also plans for an on-site lab to be built. Physiotherapy and Optometry services will also be available soon. 

The facility has a full-time front desk staff to provide administrative support. Nursing and billing support are available if needed, at a small additional cost. Billing support is a low fee, similar to the cost of nursing support. These are optional services and not part of the overhead, and the cost is shared among the physicians who choose to use them. There are 2 family physicians currently working at the clinic. They are also the clinic owners and will provide support to the incoming physician. 

Guelph is the Royal City, has a population of around 145,000 and is located approximately 45 minutes west of Toronto Pearson Airport, an hour from downtown Toronto, and 20 minutes from Kitchener/Waterloo. Guelph has the right mix of big city amenities and small-town warmth. The city is well connected by transport, with GO Transit and Via Rail service to Toronto. It is best known for being the home of the University of Guelph, one of the top-rated comprehensive universities in Canada. 

Requirements:
•  Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
•  Postgraduate training from Australia, Canada, Ireland, UK, or USA
