FULLY LICENCED ONLY / Job ID: 2422   Pediatricians required for Supportive Multi-Disciplinary Practice  Job Details: Our client in Ottawa, Ontario is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Pediatrician to join their Family Practice. The Pediatrician will be responsible for offering full scope of Pediatric care, 60-90 min patient consultations and 30 mins for follow-up appointments. Hours of work are Monday-Friday 9am-4pm.  The clinic uses PS Suite Telus Health EMR, and offers billing support. The EMR has a cloud solution with remote access and virtual care available when needed. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement includes turnkey operations and EMR fees, to be discussed with interested candidates. The range of potential full-time annual earnings is $300,000-$400,000.   Clinic Details: The clinic has administrative support available, there is an experienced referrals clerk and administrative staff to answer the phone. There are 4 nurses that help with the metrics for patients, assist with wound care, ear irrigation, inoculations and urgent triaging as needed. The clinic has 8 specialists including a Hematologist, Rheumatologist, Allergist, Pediatric Endocrinologist, Pediatric Specialist and 15 Family Physicians working there.  The clinic is open Monday-Friday 9am-8pm, Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday on call for Family Physicians. There is a Pharmacy and Phlebotomy services on site, and a Physio in the same building. Free parking is available. Job Details: Our client in Mississauga, Ontario is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. The clinic has a significant list of patients waiting for Family Physician. Join a large Family Health Group and enjoy a good work-life balance while working as a group. Great support from existing physicians and MOA staff. Minor procedure skills and IUD skills would be an asset, but not required. The client is happy to do an LMIA which is a document required for a work permit, this requires a 3 year minimum contract from the physician. Clinic hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm and 9am to 2pm Saturdays, closed on statutory holidays. The incoming physician is expected to work once a week till 7pm (could start that day a little late if preferred). Mondays on rotation to work till 7pm. Saturdays on rotation. On the week the physician is working Saturday, they will also close on Friday of that week. No on call schedule. The clinic uses Telus PS Suite EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 70/30 for less than a 2 year contract, and 75/25 if signing 3 year contract, and the range of potential annual earnings is $250,000-$350,000.  Incentives available to Physicians: Can be discussed for those interested in a longer term contract.  Clinic Details: The state of the art paperless facility has 9 very well equipped exam rooms with all electronic wall instruments, iMacs and a printer in each room, a dedicated procedure room with motorized exam table, on-site lab and pharmacy. The incoming physicians will be working as part of a team with two physicians currently working at the facility. The clinic is in a diverse, middle class area and has a catchment of about 250,000 people within 5 km radius. This is a FHO Position, with the doctor expected to recruit at least 1200-1500 patients. The physician should be able to offer a full array of family medicine-related services preferably women’s health and senior patients with chronic medical conditions. The physician should be able to work in an interdisciplinary team. As this is a capitation model, work is flexible with the option to work at home some days. Hours are flexible, Monday-Friday 3-5 days a week, along with one evening per week 5-8pm as per ministries.   The government of Canada offers a student loan forgiveness program for eligible communities such as Stouffville.  The clinic uses Oscar EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is via the FHO Model, the physician will immediately join the Family Health Organization. Income Stabilization is offered by the ministry of health. Split arrangement is 75/25, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $400,000-$500,000. Incentives Available to the Physician: Reduced overhead for the first 2 months for qualified candidates- to be discussed.  Clinic Details: The centre has been recently renovated and is well-equipped. The physician will be joining a supportive team with a Clinic Manager, Front Staff, Marketing Support, and a Registered Nurse who is available to work some hours. There is 1 Family Physician currently working at the clinic.  This is a sole physician owned clinic and is not attached to a pharmacy. Onsite services include massage therapy, counselling, nutrition, acupuncture, foot care, physiotherapy, aesthetic service, and weight management. The centre hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.  The center has a good reputation in the town and the founder physician has many years of experience setting up clinics. Located downtown, with lots of foot traffic and visibility. There are opportunities for niche practices such as obesity medicine, aesthetics, and women's health.  Stouffville is a community located in the larger town of Whitchurch-Stouffville and is one of the many areas in the York region of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) that have experienced explosive day-by-day growth of one hundred percent in recent years.
