Job Details: Our client in Edmonton, Alberta is looking for a full-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. The incoming physician will be expected take up full-scope of family practice and accept walk-in patients. Hours of work are weekdays and every other Saturday.

The clinic uses AVA EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 80/20, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $350,000-$450,000. 

Clinic Details: The clinic has a procedure room. There are 2 MOAs, 1 nurse and 1 family physician currently working at the clinic to provide support and easy transition.

The clinic is located in a neighbourhood in Edmonton with a population of 13,000, open weekdays 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Edmonton is a cultural, governmental and educational centre. It hosts a year-round slate of festivals, reflected in the nickname “Canada’s Festival City”. It is home to North America’s largest mall, West Edmonton Mall (the world’s largest mall from 1981 until 2004) and Fort Edmonton Park, Canada’s Largest living history museum.

Job Details: Our client in Toronto, Ontario is looking for a full-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice. The incoming physician will be working as part of a Family Health Organization. There is a waitlist, the physician will have the ability to roster up to 2400 patients. There is a minimum of 35 hours of patient care each week. As the clinic is a part of the FHO (Family Health Organization), the incoming physician will also be required to do one day each week of after-hours care: Monday to Thursday from 5pm-8pm or Saturday for 3 hours. 

The clinic uses CHS EMR but will be converting to Avaros in the next few months. No billing support available. Payment structure is via FHO Model, split arrangement is 70/30, plus HST payable on the 30% clinic split only. The range of potential full-time annual earnings is $500,000-$600,000.

Clinic Details: The clinic has 12 medical exam rooms some can be readily converted to procedure rooms. There are also 3 medical doctor’s offices and an MOA that will help with administrative tasks. Lab technicians are also available at the onsite laboratory to assist the physicians. There are 5 family physicians currently working at the clinic.

The clinic is open Monday to Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm. The clinic is in a high-income area of Toronto with a diverse patient population with 40% of seniors, families and 60% is young professionals.
