Job Details: Our client in Ottawa, Ontario is looking for a full-time / part-time family physician to join their multi-disciplinary and multi-physician clinic. Our client runs a network of clinics across most of Canada, with many clinics and locations being added all the time. They are committed to empowering patients with care that results in improved health outcomes, their focus is putting their patients and their family's health first. They will work closely with you to ensure there is a smooth transition of practice. 

The clinic is seeking committed and compassionate physicians to provide full scope of family practice. Virtual walk-in platform and telehealth options are available, both accessible from home. In-clinic cross coverage is available for short vacation time. The clinic is open Monday-Friday. Hours of work will be flexible with the physician working alongside the clinic team to come up with a suitable schedule. 

The clinic uses Accuro EMR, and offers specialized billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service. Split arrangement is 70/30 negotiable to reflect the value and expertise of the physician. The range of potential full-time annual earnings is $300,000-$600,000+.

Clinic Details: The clinic is located in a shopping complex with free parking available. Clinic Details: This Cardiology and Diagnostic Imaging facility offers comprehensive cardiac care and diagnostic imaging. Providing a range of non-cardiac nuclear diagnostic imaging and bone mineral densitometry and high quality imaging and reporting services. The clinic offers full administrative support, typically either two doctors will share one admin or one doctor per admin, this varies based on physicians practice size. Hoping to introduce nursing support in the future. There are 7 Cardiologists working 2-4 days per week at the clinic. Our client plans to relocate to a brand new 18,000 sq foot facility in the next 12 months, allowing them to further expand diagnostic and clinical services.

Hours are flexible with 40 hours per week to qualify for the Northern and Rural Recruitment and Retention Initiative (NRRRI) which is $88,000 paid over 4 years. Payment structure is fee-for-service (Comprehensive Care Model - CCM Model). Offices and examination rooms are fully equipped and Telus Practice Solutions EMR is used. Overhead split is typically a competitive 80/20, and the range of potential annual earnings depending on patients seen is $275,000-$350,000.

General Practitioners and Family Physicians perform the following duties dependent on qualifications and interest:
•    Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
•    Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
•    Perform and assist in routine surgery
•    Provide emergency care
•    Provide acute care management
•    Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
•    Deliver babies and provide pre-natal and post-natal care
•    Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention
