Job Details: Our client in White Rock, British Columbia is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. There are two types of patient models, patients new to the practice and Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) Payment Patients. The LFP is a blended model to support physicians in family practice who provide longitudinal family medicine care. With a waitlist of over 6000 and a high demand for walk-in appointments you are guaranteed a high income with expected earnings ranging from $600,000-$1M, depending on the physician's practice style and schedule. The clinic is part of the Provincial Attachment System (PAS) which connects nearly one million people in B.C. without a family doctor with physicians accepting new patients.

Hours of work are flexible with many options available to set your own schedule and appointment method, you can work full-time, part-time, Telehealth, work weekdays only or weekends allowing you to be your own boss. Coverage is available for your patients from a team of physicians and nurse practitioners, allowing you to conveniently take time off. Resources are available both in-person and over Zoom from provincial and local health networks to guide you through each step. 

The client has two locations, this clinic is led by a doctor with over 25 years of experience in both the UK and Canada and the other location is overseen by a Medical Director with more than 13 years of experience in both countries.  

The clinic uses advanced Med Access EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, with minimal overhead costs. Split arrangement is flexible starting from 70/30 to 80/20, negotiable. The range of potential full-time annual earnings is $600,000 +.  

Incentives Available to the Physician: Negotiable. Each doctor is provided with their own assigned free parking spot, Relocation funding and assistance from a network of realtors, rental places, and banking professionals.  

Clinic Details: This is a brand new, state of the art facility with 8 exam rooms, including a procedure room, shared lunchroom, physician office space, and an on-site pharmacy. The clinic is committed to providing top-notch healthcare services with the support of the latest technology including Webex SmartShaw for Telehealth and advanced Med Access EMR system. Its features include online appointment booking, reminders, and nursing support (PCN) to ensure smooth, efficient operations and TALI AI's Ambient scribe dictation software that enhances clinical documentation by recording natural conversations between physicians and patients, reducing administrative tasks, and improving patient care. Pomelo by Telus Health is available which offer automatic appointment management, improves patient interactions, sends reminders to decrease missed appointments, EMR integration by providing real-time updated and seamless data management, 2 way messaging to facilitate direct communication between patients and providers, as well as streamlining administrative workflow by reducing manual tasks and improves efficiency. There is a Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Therapist, a pharmacist and 2 family physicians currently working at the clinic.

Job Details: Our Client in Lansdowne, Ontario is looking for a full-time Family Physician to take over a patient roster of 1,100 patients from a retiring doctor. This is a two-physician, turnkey practice with no investment required.  New doctor will provide comprehensive primary medical care to existing roster with ample opportunity to increase the patient base and grow the practice.  Patient demographics require the physician to be fluent in English. Physicians determine their personal work schedule. Practice is part of a Family Health Organization (FHO) with each FHO doctor providing evening/weekend after-hours clinic coverage on average three times per month. 

For a physician with permanent Canadian residency status, there is opportunity for hospitalist or ER work and perhaps long term care work in the area. There is opportunity to host 3rd and 4th year medical residents from Queen’s University in Kingston.  

The clinic uses Avaros EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is a combination of Blended Capitation/Fee-For-Service. The range of potential full-time gross annual earnings is $392,000-$504,000.

Clinic operating expenses (support staff salaries, office supplies, equipment maintenance and service contracts) is shared between the two clinic physicians. There is a small rent amount. Full details can be provided during the interview. The facility is owned and operated by a Charity and the Board is the facility landlord, employ the support staff, act as paymaster and engage a bookkeeper.  

Incentives Available to the Physician
• LMIA approval has been obtained for a suitable candidate needing to obtain a work permit.
• The Township will pay $20K to the physician annually on their anniversary date with the clinic for up to five years, provide a $5K relocation allowance, cover the premiums for single or family enrollment in a reputable group healthcare plan, and pay for up to six months (maximum $10K) of career coaching for a spouse by a professional HR firm. 
• The Medical Centre Board will waive the first month’s overhead and lease (approx. $10,500). The Board also offers a minimum of $5K annually for up to three additional years beyond the initial term of service.

Clinic Details: Recently renovated and expanded the facility offers a modern, well-equipped clinic space consisting of seven exam rooms, nursing station, physician touch-down area, reception, and spacious waiting room. There are additional office spaces and meeting rooms. Open from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday and closed for one hour at noon. A pharmacy rents space in the building. There is ample free parking for staff and patients.  Clinic is well staffed with a clinic nurse, two office staff, a nurse practitioner and two family physicians (includes the physician planning retirement). There is direct access for referrals to Allied Health Professionals specializing in social work, dietetics, and preventative care, who see patients on-site.

Lansdowne, Ontario  just north of the Thousand Islands Bridge to the USA is centrally located between Montreal and Toronto, just off the 401 corridor.  Only a 30-minute drive to Brockville, 45-minute drive to Kingston, 90-minute drive to Ottawa, the Nation's Capital. The village boasts a variety of local shops, restaurants, and grocers. Nearby Gananoque (15 minutes) has dentists, veterinaries, law offices, banking institutions, shopping, live theatre, restaurants, fast food and several other amenities. The area is a popular retirement destination near the St. Lawrence River and Charleston Lake with a vast offering of recreation, tourist attractions and beautiful settings. Choose to reside in a nearby town (Gananoque) city (Kingston/Brockville), quaint community (Lansdowne/Mallorytown/Rockport...), on a waterfront lot (1000 Islands Parkway) or in the country with acreage.

The nearby hospitals are in Brockville (community hospital) and Kingston (tertiary care). Our client in Regina, Saskatchewan is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. The physician should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.

The incoming physician can practice on a full-time family basis, provide walk-in shift coverage, or do a mix of both, with scheduling flexibility. It is expected that the physician will attend to about 40+ walk-in and regular patients per day in a full-time arrangement. There is also a possibility of evening and weekend shift work.

The clinic uses Accuro EMR with internet-based remote access allowing for work from home, and the convenience of paperless charting. The option to manually chart your notes is available. The clinic also offers IT and billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 75/25 or better, depending on the level of involvement: full time or part-time. No associated overhead costs during your vacations, CME time or other periods of absence from practice. The range of potential annual earnings is $500,000-$600,000.

Clinic Details: The facility is in a busy practice location, and has 6 exam rooms, 3 individual doctor offices plus a small lab and staff kitchen. All exam rooms are fully equipped, with computers, printers and access to Accuro. The clinic is located in close proximity to most desirable housing and shopping destinations in the Regina area. The incoming physician will be working as part of a team including four other physicians.

Regina is a beautiful, clean-air medium-size capital city, with reasonably-priced housing and cost of living. It is known as a great place to raise a family and as one of the sunniest places in North America. The city has exceptional facilities for children extracurricular activities, such as hockey, speed skating, cross country skiing, football, soccer and dance. Two thirds of Saskatchewan is covered by virgin forests and lakes offering endless recreational opportunities in the summer.

A team of four physicians work together to provide daily full-scope services (no obstetrics, no inpatient care) travelling to each of 4 Indigenous communities by car, including being on-call 1:4. RN is first on call. The facilities use MedAccess EMR and offer billing support. Payment structure is through a Clinical Services Contract; Alternative Payment Program (APP), average of $14,000 per week with no overheads and the range of potential annual earnings is $400,000 - $500,000. 

Excellent Incentives: Incentives available are based on eligibility and include rural retention bonus, relocation allowance, and recruitment bonus. All incentives and bonuses will be discussed further with interested candidates.

Clinic Details: The physician group provides comprehensive health services for four First Nations communities in the Nisga’a Valley: Gitlaxtaa’miks (New Aiyansh), Gitwinksihlkw (Canyon), Laxgalts’ap (Greenville), and Gingolx (Kincolith). They provide care to a population of 3,781 which includes Nisga’a and non-Nisga’a residents, as well as off core lands citizens who access primary care services in the valley. The centers are open 9am-5pm plus 24/7 for emergencies (no admissions, just assessment/stabilization); PoCUS equipment at all sites; no other imaging onsite; labs drawn on-site twice per week but sent out for processing; nearest hospital and imaging is 1.5 hours away in Terrace; no obstetrics.

Three of the Health and Wellness Centers are staffed with full-time RNs who take first call, and the fourth center is a Mental Wellness Program Hub with primary care services two days per week. The primary care services are provided in concert with other in-valley programs including Public Health, Mental Wellness and Addictions, Home Care, Community Wellness, and Community Rehabilitation (OT/PT), with case management for patients with complex needs. Specialist services are accessed through a combination of visiting specialists, telemedicine, and out-of-valley travel to specialists. These are all covered services. They do not provide in-patient care; and work with in-valley first responders and regional transportation resources for clients requiring a higher level of care.

The territory is 100 km northwest of Terrace, located on British Columbia's rugged northwest coast where soaring mountains, picturesque fjords, dramatic lava beds, natural hot springs, and thriving rivers offer outstanding recreation year-round. Natural hot springs, mountain biking trails, world-class salmon and steelhead fishing, snowshoe/hiking and much more is easily accessible after clinic!
