Job Details: Our client in Belleville, Ontario is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join their hospital team for a target of 12 shifts per month minus 10 weeks of holidays. Emergency Medicine opportunities are also available at additional hospital locations, with physicians able to work at more than one site, should this be of interest. Emergency Medicine work can also be combined with Family Medicine opportunities. The division also has an educational program.

Physicians benefit from an exceptional group of dedicated emergency nurses and 24-hour support from family medicine, internal medicine, intensive care, general surgery, orthopaedics, urology, pediatrics, anesthesia, obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry, otolaryngology, and radiology. Support is also available from cardiologists, gastroenterologists, oncologists, and a nephrologist.

Physicians have access to 3 point-point-of-care ultrasound machines, an endocavitary probe, and a transesophageal probe in the ER. There is state of the art diagnostic equipment, in the radiology department, including a 64 multi-slice CT scanner with a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and an MRI. Ultrasounds and CTs are available 24/7.

The facility currently uses Meditech EMR and will be moving to Cerner. Payment structure is mainly via an an Alternate Funding Agreement (AFA), and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $300,000-$400,000. 

Incentives Available to the Physician: A $75,000 Incentive is available with a five-year Return of Service (ROS). Details can be discussed with interested candidates.

Clinic Details: The hospital has two medicine units, an 18-bed intensive care unit (ICU), a lively emergency department, a wide range of surgical and diagnostic services, a busy maternal child unit, a children’s treatment centre, inpatient and outpatient stroke and rehabilitation care, inpatient and outpatient mental health services, and the regional cancer clinic. This general hospital works closely with the other hospital teams, as well as regional and provincial health centres to serve their communities. The 24-hour Emergency Department (ED) has 14 active physicians, and sees over 42,000 cases annually.

The local tertiary care facility is only 45 minutes away and provides excellent support as the regional site for neurosurgery, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, plastic surgery, and definitive trauma care.

The city of Belleville features a mix of small-town charm and big-city amenities. It is a growing city, with exciting culinary experiences, sheltered waterways for boating and ice fishing, fun festivals and entertainment, beautiful trails and golf courses, a popular farmer’s market, unique shops and services, as well as popular big box and large-scale retail.

Set along the Bay of Quinte, the area includes some of the most diverse and beautiful countryside in Ontario, and almost every lifestyle interest can be found within the surrounding communities. Belleville is located between Ottawa and Toronto, along the Quebec City-Windsor Corridor, so there is plenty of access to larger centres.

Requirements: 
•    Postgraduate training from Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or USA
•    Eligible for EM certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or
•    Eligible for certification from College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP-EM)
•    Physicians with the ability to work as either primary or secondary (fast track) emergency physicians may be accepted, although above designations are preferred
•    Applicants must be current with ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications

Job Details: Our client in Regina, Saskatchewan is looking for full-time and/or part-time Family Physicians to join their team for community Family Medicine and some Walk-in. You are able to work Family Medicine or Walk-in shifts. Flexible work schedule, and work from home is accommodated.

The clinic uses Accuro EMR, the only provincial EMR in the city, and offers billing support. Saskatchewan has a new Transitional Payment Model (TMP) which is a blended model combining fee-for-service and a capitation payment, allowing doctors to earn up to $144K, (based on patient contacts and panel size). Split arrangement is 75/25 negotiable and can be discussed with the incoming physician. Earning potential is comfortably up to $500,000 for a self motivated and hard working Physician.  

Incentives Available to the Physician:  $20k relocation incentive is available

Clinic Details: The clinic is well established in the community and is known as the neighbourhood clinic. It is the largest treatment facility for primary care in the city, offering 24 computerized exam rooms, 300 items on procurement list, and an X-ray on-site and soon to be Ultrasound as well. There is an on-site Dermatologist, and a mixture of Family Practice and Walk in Physicians. There are currently 5 GP's working at the clinic.

Job Details: Our client in Calgary, Alberta is looking for a full-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice. The incoming physician should have good communication skills as they will be working in collaboration with a team of physicians, pharmacists and other support staff. The physician will see preferably 60-70 patients a day. Experience in minor procedures, Intra-articular injections and IUD insertions would be preferred but not mandatory. 

Punjabi/Hindi/Urdu speaking physician is preferred due to patient population. An LMIA is available for candidates requiring a work permit. Hours of work are Monday-Friday, with at least 1 or 2 Saturdays per month. Closed on Sundays and holidays. 

The clinic uses Accuro EMR, a complete EMR one time training will be arranged and paid for by the clinic. The clinic offers billing support and payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 75/25 for the first 2 years, and 80/20 from 3 years onwards. Client is open to discuss a fixed salary per hour. The range of potential full-time annual earnings is $500,000-$600,000.

Incentives Available to the Physician: $11,000 Relocation allowance available if candidate is moving from a different country. 

Clinic Details: This new clinic is a combined integrated medical unit and pharmacy with a clinic manager and other support staff. All patients are seen on site with no home visits available. Phone consults may be arranged at the cost of the clinic, allowing the physician to work from home. There are 2 family physicians currently working at the clinic.
