FULLY LICENCED ONLY / Job ID: 2290 $50k Signing Bonus, High Earning Potential, 45 Mins North of Calgary and 25 Mins North of Airdrie Job Details: Our client in Didsbury, Alberta is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice. This is a clinic network that has developed a true medical home model consisting of 2 components: in-clinic primary and specialty clinics, and a virtual collaborative health program. The innovative model used by this network prioritizes the well-being of both patients and physicians. They believe that healthier practitioners create healthier patients, better outcomes and improve entire communities through the outward ripple effect of good care. Working for this network, you can expect:   •  High levels of administrative support so you can focus on patients, including centralized billing and referral teams.   •  The opportunity to easily build your panel.   •  Support from a collaborative team of practitioners, including a panel of over 50 specialists.   •  Encouragement and resources to grow your expertise in specialized focus areas. Hours of work are between Monday to Friday from 8am – 5pm, no weekends or calls. Arrangements can be made to consider after hours or weekends only if preferred by the incoming physician to build patient panel quickly. Number of patients per shift and visit duration will be at the physician’s pace. The practice is looking for a team player with good communication skills. Extra skills or areas of interest would be an asset. There are currently 2 part-time and 2 full-time Family Physicians working at the clinic with areas of interest and special skills in Mental Health , Addictions, Occupational Medicine, Obesity Management and Dermatology. The clinic uses Med-Access EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 75/25, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $500,000-$600,000.  Incentives Available to the Physician: Support in building up a practice, help with arranging schools, connecting with estate agents, assist with kids school registration etc.  Clinic Details: The clinic is located in a great youthful community with a small town feel that is 10 min from Calgary. The population of Okotoks is 32,000, but draws a catchment of around 100,000. It has 2 top schools and great outdoor recreation opportunities. IMG SUPPORT AVAILABLE / Job ID: 2305   Build Your Own Patient Panel at Well Established Practice – 45 Minutes from Calgary  Job Details: Our client in Strathmore, Alberta is looking for a full-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice. The incoming physician will be responsible for providing full primary care services to patients. The clinic has an extensive waiting list, allowing the physician the opportunity to build their own patient panel. There is an opportunity for inpatient care and Long-Term care. Acute care based on rotation schedule is optional. Long-Term care facility in town is close to clinic if physician would like some Long-Term care. Hours of work are Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm.  The clinic uses MedAccess EMR and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 70/30, (excluded overheads include business practice cost and billings generated from hospital or long-term care billings). The range of potential full-time annual earnings is $350,000-$450,000.   Clinic Details: The clinic is open Monday- Friday from 8:30am-5pm (closed for lunch 12-1pm). There are 2 larger size exam rooms, fully equipped including cautery and liquid nitrogen, where commonly conducted minor procedures, including excisions, IUD insertions are carried out with an option for cosmetic laser treatment as well. The clinic uses single use sterile equipment with no need for onsite sterilization.  The incoming physician will be well supported with a front desk, office manager and on-floor medical office assistants to provide daily support. A nurse practitioner is available twice a week through the primary care network. There are 4 family physicians currently working at the clinic.  The clinic is located close to the hospital, Long-Term care facility and schools. There is also a dental clinic, pharmacy, physical therapies clinic and a visiting audiologist at the same location. Strathmore is a growing town, less than an hour's drive from Calgary with a current population of 15,000.  Requirements:  •  Postgraduate training from Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or USA  •  Eligible for certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)  •  Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
