Job Details: Our client in Edmonton, Alberta is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join their Multidisciplinary clinic. After a probationary period, the clinic is seeking family practice physicians to take on patients for longitudinal care. This is a highly supportive culture with easy access to some specialty care.  Hours of work are between Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, no weekends. On-call requirement is 1 day per month, 1 weekend per 3 months working in the Urgent Care Clinic for rostered patients. This is not a general walk-in clinic and the incoming physician can choose to pick up extra shifts, although it is not necessary. The new physician can be as busy as he/she wants and have access to detached patients through the Urgent Care Clinic. The clinic uses QHR EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 70/30 on revenue generated in clinic. Comprehensive physician supports provided are parking, remote work options, on-site and remote IT support, etc. The range of potential full-time annual earnings is $350,000-$450,000.  Incentives Available to the Physician: The building offers a very well appointed doctors' lounge, a well equipped gymnasium with shower/change facilities, a bike lockup, etc. Clinic Details: The clinic is a physician owned, fully renovated facility. Medical practice occupies 75% of the building, 25% is occupied by curated tenants that include pharmacy, diagnostic imaging, physiotherapy, optometry, PFT labs, massage therapy and a high-end café. 50 physicians currently work at the facility, with 35 family practice physicians and 15 specialists including pediatrics, obgyn, adult and pediatric neurology, internal medicine, rheumatology, psychiatry, sleep medicine and low-risk obstetrics. The clinic is west of downtown in a very walkable neighborhood and is home to many small cafes, bakeries, and more. The area contains many low and high-rise apartment and condominium options, and has multiple quiet single-family neighborhoods with excellent schools.
