The incoming physician should have the ability to manage a diverse patient population in a fast-paced clinic setting and be comfortable with EMR systems. Multilingual speaking English, Mandarin and Punjabi would be an asset.  Responsibilities and duties include performing routine gynecology examinations, diagnose and treat disorders of the female reproductive system, provide prenatal, antenatal and postnatal care. Insert and manage intrauterine devices, perform gynecology procedures such as colposcopy, biopsy and minor in-office surgeries, and refer patients for advance imaging, diagnostics as needed. Hours are negotiable, clinic hours are Monday- Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm  The clinic uses Telus MedAccess EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is to be discussed with interested candidates, split arrangement is 70/30, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $400,000-$500,000.   Clinic Details: This multi-disciplinary facility has 10 exam rooms & 2 procedure rooms. This is a collaborative environment that allows physicians to focus on diagnosis and treatment while ensuring comprehensive care. The physicians are supported by a strong administrative team including a clinic manager, assistant clinic manager and 3 full-time MOA’s. There is a nurse on staff to assist and prepare patients for gynecology examinations and procedures, assist with procedures such as Pap, IUD, Biopsies. Maintain sterilization of instruments and exam rooms, and manage specimen collection, labelling and transport. Currently there are 2 full-time Family Physicians, 1 part-time Cardiologist and 1 part-time Internal Surgeon working at the clinic.  The clinic is easily accessible by both vehicle and public transit. Close to the university of Alberta and within 10 minutes from downtown Edmonton.
