80/20 Split, Family Physicians required for Well- Established FHO Clinic
Job Details: Our client in Kitchener, Ontario is looking for a full-time Family Physician to join their multidisciplinary clinic. The incoming physician will provide full scope of family practice, responsible for looking after FHO patients. Experience with Women’s health, Geriatrics and Childcare is preferred. Once the incoming physician confirms a start date, the clinic is committed to doing all they can to assist with building a patient list, which includes trying to obtain a list of patients from a retiring doctor. Hours are Monday-Friday with on call/out of hours shifts, weekday calls every 4-6 weeks and weekend call 1 or 2 every 6 months.
The clinic uses Telus PS Suite EMR, does not offer billing support. Payment structure is via FHO model, split arrangement is 80/20, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $350,000-$400,000.

Clinic Details: This is a large, air-conditioned building, with large waiting area suitable for 15-20 patients, with a separate reception. There are 9 larger than average clinic rooms, a procedure room, cardiology clinic, and a large kitchen area. There are 2 full time and 1 part time MOA, 1 full-time nurse, 1 cardiologist 1 day a week and 2 full-time family physicians currently working at the clinic.
Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm, Friday 9am-12pm, On call/ Out of Hours Monday –Friday 5pm-8pm and Saturday-Sunday 10am-2pm. The clinic has reserved parking for the doctors, and free parking for more than 30 cars for patients. Situated at a busy intersection, 10 minutes from downtown Kitchener. Close proximity to two universities, one being a global leader in innovation.

Requirements:
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Postgraduate training from Australia, Canada, Ireland, UK, or USA
