Job Details: Our client in Regina, Saskatchewan is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. The physician should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.

The incoming physician can practice on a full-time family basis, provide walk-in shift coverage, or do a mix of both, with scheduling flexibility. It is expected that the physician will attend to about 40+ walk-in and regular patients per day in a full-time arrangement. There is also a possibility of evening and weekend shift work.

The clinic uses Accuro EMR with internet-based remote access allowing for work from home, and the convenience of paperless charting. The option to manually chart your notes is available. The clinic also offers IT and billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 75/25 or better, depending on the level of involvement: full time or part-time. No associated overhead costs during your vacations, CME time or other periods of absence from practice. The range of potential annual earnings is $500,000-$600,000.

Incentive Available:  Signing bonus of $11,000, when signing a two year contract

Clinic Details: The facility is in a busy practice location, and has 6 exam rooms, 3 individual doctor offices plus a small lab and staff kitchen. All exam rooms are fully equipped, with computers, printers and access to Accuro. The clinic is located in close proximity to most desirable housing and shopping destinations in the Regina area. The incoming physician will be working as part of a team including four other physicians.

Regina is a beautiful, clean-air medium-size capital city, with reasonably-priced housing and cost of living. It is known as a great place to raise a family and as one of the sunniest places in North America. The city has exceptional facilities for children extracurricular activities, such as hockey, speed skating, cross country skiing, football, soccer and dance. Two thirds of Saskatchewan is covered by virgin forests and lakes offering endless recreational opportunities in the summer.

Requirements: 
• Postgraduate training from Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or USA
• Eligible for certification by the College of Family Physicians Canada (CFPC)
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS)
