Pediatrician required for Well Established Pediatrics Clinic - 30 Minutes from Toronto

Job Details: Our client in Scarborough, Ontario is looking for a full-time Pediatrician to join their Pediatrics clinic. Hours of work would be Monday to Friday with one evening and one weekend.

Physician responsibilities and skills include:
•    Well Baby checks
•    all immunizations
•    provide consultation for community and hospitals
•    prescribe and treat patients appropriately
•    order labs and diagnostic as necessary
•    maintain complete and accurate documentation
•    good diagnostic, treatment and management skills of clinical pediatric care
•    maintain current knowledge of drugs and medication for pediatric care
•    good knowledge of computers and IT systems
•    excellent personal and interpersonal skills
•    excellent patient, family interaction skills
•    strong time management skills

The clinic uses Advantage EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is 70/30, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $500,000-$600,000. 

Clinic Details: The clinic is well established with nursing admin and lab support, onsite lab, X-Ray, and Pharmacy. The collaborative and supportive team consists of 5 pediatricians, 2 pediatric specialists, and  3 family physicians that have been working together for over 10 years. 

The medical practice is integrated in Ontario Laboratories Information System (OLIS) and Health Report Manager (HRM). Located in a large shopping complex, the facility serves the east end of the Toronto area including Scarborough, Markham, Pickering and surrounding areas. 

Requirements:
•  Eligible for licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
•  Specialist training from Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, UK, or USA
