Cardiologist Required, Join Supportive Cardiology Team at Toronto Clinic
Job Details: Our client in Toronto, Ontario is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Cardiologists to join their speciality clinic. This is a clinic based opportunity with no hospital privileges required or offered. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills. They will work alongside a team of Cardiologists conducting comprehensive assessments and consultations for patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, with opportunities in stress echo and nuclear cardiology interpretation. Fellowship training in nuclear cardiology would be highly desirable.
This is a high volume cardiac centre, serving 20,000+ patients annually. Hours of work are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-4pm. No weekends or call schedule required.
The clinic uses Cerebrum EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service, split arrangement is negotiable for the right candidate, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $250,000-$500,000, depending on physicians working availability and workload capacity.
Clinic Details: This Cardiology and Diagnostic Imaging facility offers comprehensive cardiac care and diagnostic imaging. Providing a range of non-cardiac nuclear diagnostic imaging and bone mineral densitometry and high quality imaging and reporting services. The clinic offers full administrative support, typically either two doctors will share one admin or one doctor per admin, this varies based on physicians practice size. Hoping to introduce nursing support in the future. There are 7 Cardiologists working 2-4 days per week at the clinic. Our client plans to relocate to a brand new 18,000 sq foot facility in the next 12 months, allowing them to further expand diagnostic and clinical services.
Located in the west end of Toronto, easily accessible by public transit, walking distance to shopping centres, parks, fitness facilities, restaurants, cafe’s, and places of worship. This is an excellent location, family friendly and close to the lake and walking trails. Only 15-20 minutes from Downtown.
Requirements:
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) Certification
• Specialist training from Canada, USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, and UK
