Excellent Earning Potential in the Beautiful Okanagan Valley (with pics!)
Job Details: Our client in Kelowna, British Columbia is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. The incoming physician will join a compassionate team who are focused on offering patient-centred care. They will manage a panel of patients and see walk in patients if required. Hours of work are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with extended hours and weekends available at the preference of the physician.
The clinic uses Oscar Pro EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service or Longitudinal Payment Model. The LFP is a blended model to support physicians in family practice who provide longitudinal family medicine care. The split arrangement is 70/30, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $350,000-$450,000.
Incentives Available to the Physician: Practice support will be provided to the incoming physician.
Clinic Details: The clinic is open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and offers expert medical care. Centrally located, in the heart of the Misson area in Kelowna, a very accessible location situated close to popular restaurants and the hospital. There are 3 family physicians currently working at the clinic.
Kelowna is located on the stunning Okanagan Lake, in the Okanagan Valley. A perfect location for those who want to explore the beauty of the great outdoors, with access to parks, cultural attractions, recreational areas, and facilities for hiking, biking in the summer and skiing in the winter. In the heart of the city, you will find a variety of unique shops, and restaurants offering global cuisine. The Okanagan Valley is known for its abundance of wineries, and fruit orchards some surrounding the city or a short driving distance.
Requirements:
• Postgraduate training from Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or USA
• Eligible for certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
