Job Details: Our client in Vancouver, British Columbia is looking for outstanding, personable full-time Family Physicians with strong collaboration skills to join their Family Practice clinic's. There are 2 downtown clinic locations and apart from a generous compensation package, they provide an exceptional work environment with a strong culture of compassion, innovation and excellence. 

This healthcare centre offers personalized, service-focused healthcare delivered by an integrated team of professionals that includes nurse practitioners, registered nurses, registered dietitians, exercise physiologists, mental health counsellors, medical laboratory assistants and others. They practice true collaboration not co-location. Assessment and care protocols are guided by the latest thinking in evidence-based medical science. They attract patients that require complex care as well as healthy individuals committed to staying that way, and roster sizes are kept small (less than 400 patients). With the focus on prediction, prevention and early detection, the result is a nicely balanced practice.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, business hours with a 4-day work week option to support a balanced lifestyle. On-call rotation (optional) is currently one week, every 6-8 weeks.

The clinic uses Juno EMR, and offers billing support. Payment terms include a per diem (paid within 5 business days of monthly invoicing). Provincial billings as per standard government policy. There are no billing splits or overhead costs, and the range of potential annual earnings is $475,000-$500,000 for full-time physicians.

Incentives Available to the Physician: Generous additional compensation for on-call rotations.

Clinic Details: The clinic boasts beautiful facilities including in-house laboratory, stress testing and state-of-the art equipment. Clinicians receive on-going training on new technology and current research. The clinic currently employs 12 physicians, specializing in women's health, dermatology, pediatrics, chronic illness/pain, and functional and lifestyle medicine.

The Clinic provides all-inclusive programs that begin with a health history intake and a Personalized Health Assessment. Care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team, including a physician, nurse or nurse practitioner, registered dietitian, exercise physiologist, genetic counselor, personal care coordinator, and mental health team advocate.

Requirements: 
•    Postgraduate training from Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or USA
•    Eligible for certification by the College of Family Physicians Canada (CFPC)
•    Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
