PHIL MARTIN
Hello, I am Phil Martin, the CEO of Physicians For You. Originally from Southampton and West London in the UK, I have been living and loving recruitment, business development, sales and marketing for the last 25 years. Having been very fortunate to have travelled, lived and worked all over the world, I am very happy to now call Canada my home.
When I first came to Canada, my wife and I were based in Toronto, Ontario and after a few years there we moved to Vernon, British Columbia, where my wife is originally from. Although I had been working in recruitment for many years in the UK and Australia, as an avid skier and mountain biker I knew this was where I wanted to be. Since arriving in Canada all those years ago I have fully embraced the BC and Canadian lifestyle becoming a certified ski-instructor, mountain biking instructor, and discovering a passion for yoga and meditation. I find it an essential practice every day that allows me to keep grounded and focused on the things that truly matter in life.
I am very passionate about medical recruitment and truly love what I do every day. It is such a pleasure to be able to help physicians at any stage of their career, whether currently living in Canada, or looking to make the move here, secure fantastic roles in one of the most stunningly beautiful and friendliest countries in the world. It is my sincere wish that we can help make the leap into the unknown with career and life plans as smooth of a transition as possible, and that is our dedication to our physicians every day.
Being able to assist medical facilities all across the country fulfill the need for physicians in both rural and urban communities is another rewarding aspect of what we do.
